We re-launched the Australasian Early Career Urban Research Network (AECURN) with a panel at the Institute of Australian Geographers annual conference in Newcastle, NSW.
I am very proud to be the national Chair of AECURN, working with a great executive committee to build our platform. We aim to become the primary forum for PhD and ECR urban-focused research in Australia and the region. We promote, support, and advocate for early career agendas in urban research, and work across institutions and disciplines to empower early career voices in tackling pressing urban issues.
