📺📽️ Television documentary alert!
Two days before I left London in February 2023, I spent a day with the more-than-wonderful team at GA&A Productions to work on a documentary about street art, public ownership, and Banksy’s symbolic community importance.
🎉 BANKSY AND THE STOLEN GIRL is now out – and traces the theft and subsequent police investigation to recover Banksy’s Sad Girl, which he stencilled on the door of the Bataclan theatre in Paris in 2018.
🇦🇺 Australian screening is on SBS Viceland, 1 November 21.30, available on demand after.
There is no UK date yet but the film will be screening in the first half of November on TVE (Spain), TVC/TV3 (Catalunya), CANAL + POLSKA (Poland), RTV SLOVAKIA (Slovakia), ARTE (France and Germany), RAI 5 (Italy), NRK (Norway), DR (Denmark), YLE (Finland), TELE-QUEBEC (Canada), SRF (German speaking Switzerland), RTS (French speaking Switzerland), SKY ARTS NZ (New Zealand) and RTBF (Belgium) 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
