My first keynote!

I gave my first keynote at the Cultural Geography symposium at the University of Melbourne on 2 July 2026. The title of my paper was “Walls speak. A research agenda for urban surfaces”, and I presented some of my progress in thinking about surfaces since the book (two years ago already!), through the many inspiring workshops of the Urban Surfaces Research Network, and towards a website and Special Issue that are in the making…
