Best vibes only for our second in-person Urban Surfaces Research Workshop hosted by Konstantinos Avramidis in sunny Nicosia: “Making and visualising surfaces in the city” ☀️
Our Urban Studies Foundation Seminar Series Award enabled us to bring together 20 participants from 15 different countries (!) to collaborate on urban-surfaces related projects addressing governance, labour, communication, and ecology, among other themes pertinent to the surfaces research agenda.
We made things, we went on city walks, we dined and shaded and drew and wrote together, and built amazing community. Such a gem 💎 in a highlight-filled month-long European trip for me!
